Formerly the canal toll keeper's cottage virtually on an island at the junction of the Grand Union Canal (mainline) and the Leicester line. Approach is via a footbridge over the canal. A most unusual location, offering peace and tranquillity, with a view along the canal to narrowboats and pleasure boats, etc. The cottage has an interesting history and is ideally located for quiet walks, visiting the British Waterways Museum at Stoke Bruerne, and the many interesting historic houses in the area.
