Just 1<frac>1/2</frac> miles away is the village of Veryan with its famous thatched round houses. Nare Head to the south is a fine place for walking with Gull Rock just offshore, a notable seabird colony. St Mawes, a short drive, curled around a south-facing bay at the mouth of Percuil. There is a regular ferry passenger service to Falmouth with its harbour. Many sandy beaches in the area. Shop and pub 1<frac>1/2 </frac>miles._Ground floor: Living room with French door.
