There are many clean beaches nearby where one can swim or relax, and sometimes friendly dolphins can be spotted off-shore. South Hams offers a wide variety of days out, including Dartmouth for shopping and its beautiful castle, or take a trip to Agatha Christie's house, and Blackpool Sands is a beautiful beach with white sands. Eden Project is approximately 1½ hours by car. Shops 4 miles, pub/restaurant 100 yards.
