Situated in the heart of Constable country, just a short distance from Flatford Mill, Willy Lott's cottage and Sir Alfred Munning's house, this converted barn with its own garden, is set amidst beautiful, undulating countryside, near to the owners' home yet completely private and peaceful. With uninterrupted views of the surrounding countryside the area has an abundance of birds and other wildlife such as deer and foxes. Horses graze in the fields and free range chickens complete an authentic country atmosphere and that 'get away from it all' experience. This tastefully restored barn, furnished with antiques, paintings and with many extra personal touches, is in a perfect setting close to main routes. Situated just outside the pretty village of Higham with its Tudor and Georgian houses and the lazy River Brett, it is located within an AONB. Famous villages of Lavenham, Long Melford, Clare and Dedham close by. Suffolk Heritage coast, Cambridge and Newmarket for the races, all within one hour's drive. Golf and sailing close by. Shop and pub 1 mile.
