Whilst the local village of Grassington is even closer to hand and offers individual country shops and has an excellent selection of pubs and restaurants. The community in Grassington promotes many activities with special Christmas markets and plays host in summer to a celebration of the arts with concerts as diverse as opera and rock, with individual guest speakers and comedians (tickets can be purchased online).
