At the heart of the Lake District this location is perfect to explore all the wonderful attractions such as The World of Beatrix Potter Visitor Centre at Brockhole and Windermere Steam Boat Museum nearby. For an excellent day out the South Lakes Animal Park has a Sumatran tiger conservation centre, or The Aquarium of the Lakes boasts sharks and otters. Culturally there are art galleries and craft centres within a short drive or why not simply relax and enjoy the panorama of the lake, surrounding fells and breathtaking countryside.
