With its heightened ceiling in the living area, it offers superb panoramic sea views through the large windows, with patio doors leading to a decked area, ideal for enjoying an aperitif while watching the sunset. East Wittering has shops, pubs and restaurants, some serving freshly caught fish. East Head beach plus Chichester Marina is close by as is Pagham Nature Reserve - a haven for birds and wildlife. Chichester, with its orante cathedral, tea rooms, boutiques, cinema complex and festival theatre, and Goodwood/Fontwell races are about 15 minutes drive. Also, discover scenic walks along the South Downs, the picturesque village of Bosham with tearooms and antiques emporium, Arundel with its castle and Wildfowl Trust, plus many NT homes and gardens, such as Goodwood House, Uppark, Weald and Downland open air museum at Singleton, Petworth House, West Dean Gardens. Also within driving distance are the bustling towns of Bighton or Portsmouth with Spinnaker Tower, extensive designer shopping, waterside dining, wartime ships and day trips to the Isle of Wight.
