The conservatory and bay window at the front of the house look south directly onto farmland, presently used for grazing horses, to the hills of the Isle of Wight about 1½ miles away. From the front door it is only a short walk into the village, with its shop and pub, or alternatively you have direct access into the New Forest National Park.
