It makes an ideal base for a family who wish to walk, ride, coarse fish in the local Siblyback reservoir or golf at St. Mellion, with Polperro, Looe and Plymouth all within easy striking distance. The rugged coastline and golden beaches of both the north and south coasts are easily reached. Liskeard, with its variety of shops, pubs, restaurants and leisure centre is nearby. Close to Bodmin Moor for breathtaking walks, and the fabulous Eden Project, where the biodomes house all manner of exotic plantlife. The Camel Trail cycle path runs from Bodmin to Padstow, ideal for cycling or walking. Shop 1/4 mile, pub 1/2 mile.
