Bradworthy, 2 miles, which has the largest village square in the West Country has good village amenities including a pub, church, post office, general stores and a butchers. A superb location with something for everyone, Tamar Lakes offers coarse and trout fishing, sailing, wind surfing and canoeing whilst the coastal resort of Bude, 6 miles, has fine sandy beaches and excellent surfing as well as an 18 hole golf course, gift shops and galleries. Breathtaking countryside and coastal walks can be found nearby and the wild beauty of Exmoor, Dartmoor and Bodmin Moor are just a short drive. The pretty fishing villages of Boscastle, Tintagel and Clovelly are close by, or for a day out the famous Eden Project is within easy reach.
