Set in a beautiful countryside location but only 2 miles from the lovely market town of Diss, Old Vine Barn is ideally placed for family gatherings or larger holiday groups. Full of character, with no expense spared, this truly stunning barn conversion offers outstanding holiday accommodation for family gatherings, weekend celebrations and corporate events. Very spacious and stylish, furnished to a high standard with great attention to detail, it is graced with antiques and offers exceptionally large open-plan reception rooms. A magnificent central fireplace is open to both the living room and the inner hall and can be seen from the kitchen. The farmhouse-style kitchen/breakfast room has a vast granite island and worktops ideal for large party catering. The conservatory-style dining-room can comfortably seat the whole party and overlooks the beautifully landscaped gardens of one acre. French doors from the dining-room lead to a patio area and exceptionally large fully enclosed deck ideal for outside entertaining and as a children's play area. Each individually decorated bedroom benefits from either an en-suite bathroom or shower room, all feature TV, video and antique furniture. The Stables is an attached annexe of bedrooms for larger parties and also features a large sitting room with pamment tiled floor and double French doors which lead directly onto the decked area. For active groups there is karting, the `Go Ape' aerial assault courses, clay pigeon shooting and paintballing locally. For something more relaxing, pamper days can be booked at the Aqua Sana Spa in Elveden Forest or local beauty therapists will make home calls. Ideally placed for exploring East Anglia; the Suffolk Heritage coast and the North Norfolk coast are easily reached. Ideal for families, Monsters Indoor Playcentre, Banham Zoo, Bressingham Gardens and Steam Museum are minutes away. Further afield but definitely worth a visit are Dinosaur Adventure Park, Africa Alive, Ickworth House, Park and Gardens (NT) and Wroxham Barns with its shops, children's fairground and petting farm. Interesting places include Norwich with its cathedral and castle museum, and Bury St Edmunds - one of the prettiest Georgian towns in Suffolk. Wyken Vineyards has a regular Saturday farmers' market as well as walks and tours. Another obvious choice for a day out is to take a boat trip on the Norfolk Broads, stopping off to enjoy a quiet drink or leisurely meal at one of the many quaint pubs in the area.
