Rose Farm is a 10-acre smallholding situated in a wooded valley near the village of Ponsanooth, within easy reach of the north and south coasts of Cornwall. These semi-detached holiday cottages converted from barns, offer delightful accommodation, and are situated along a private lane where you are free to wander and enjoy the lovely surroundings. There is also an orchard, and a large field for children to play. The owners, who live in the main farmhouse, will give you a warm welcome and are usually on hand to give information about the area. Falmouth, with the National Maritime Museum is 5 miles, offering beaches, scenic boat trips, sea and coarse fishing. The classic city of Truro, 6 miles, has a large selection of exclusive shops, several restaurants and of course the famous cathedral. There is also a wealth of footpaths and walks in the immediate area with the Bissoe Trail where you can hire cycles. Explore Cornwall&rsquo;s rich mining heritage, or further afield to the Eden Project and the many wonderful gardens tucked away in the sheltered valleys at Glendurgan (NT), Trebah and Trelissick.
