Torquay boasts all the amenities of a successful seaside resort and the world famous Paignton Zoo is worth a visit. Teignmouth, Preston and Paignton have some lovely sandy beaches, and seaside piers. The local villages of Stokeinteignhead and Maidencombe both have delightful village pubs with excellent food. For discerning diners there are two award-winning restaurants within walking distance.
