The large garden includes a flower garden and woodland area. Trout fishing and picnicking by the river in the meadow. An opportunity to visit the owner’s dairy farm can be organised.<br />It is just a short stroll to two country pubs where riverside barbecues and excellent eating can be enjoyed by the water’s edge in an area of outstanding natural beauty, with the villages of Ashprington and Tuckenhay nearby. Only 6 miles from the sea at Dartmouth, and close to the historic market town of Totnes, this is a delightful countryside location, within easy reach of some of South Devon’s loveliest beaches and coves, as well as the wild expanse of the Dartmoor National Park. Guests can also enjoy a 25% discount at the Dartmouth Golf Club, with an 18-hole championship course as well as a 9-hole club course, health spa and swimming-pool. This beautiful area, with its wooded valley sides and abundant wildlife, is the perfect countryside location for amateur artists and photographers, whilst walkers and bird-watchers will enjoy the peace and tranquillity of the rural surroundings. A real dairy farm experience can be sampled by bringing the cows home at tea time and watching them being milked.
