This former pavilion house has been extensively renovated and modernised incorporating many of its original features. Set in the grounds of Killerby Hall the stunning vaulted beamed ceilings and large living/dining-room are complimented by the full height folding glass doors with breathtaking views over the grounds and countryside beyond. Almost rural yet only a short distance to the stunning beaches of Cayton Bay and the elegant seaside town of Scarborough, where the colourful harbour, award-winning beaches, beautiful parks and a bustling town centre are overlooked by the 12th century castle ruins. Head along the coastal road calling into the historic port of Whitby known for its connections with Captain James Cook. Step back in time following the ancient streets where the stunning little cottages cling to the cliff edges of Robin Hoods Bay, Runswick Bay and Staithes. Visit the RSPB bird sanctuary at Bempton Cliffs and take the breathtaking views across the coast towards Filey Brigg and Flamborough head. Heritage homes, halls and castles surround this area; Burton Agnes Hall with its amazing collection of Renoir and Monet art, Sewerby Hall and Gardens, Castle Howard film location of <em>Brideshead Revisited</em> are a must when visiting the area. Market towns of Malton, Helmsley and Pickering hosting weekly markets just a short drive. A more sophisticated day can be enjoyed at the Minster City of York with museums, art galleries and theatres.
