Ideally positioned for exploring rural Herefordshire with the Mortimer Trail on the doorstep and Offa&rsquo;s Dyke Path close by, it is a paradise for keen walkers. For those who prefer a more leisurely stroll, there are plenty of National Trust properties including Berrington Hall, Hergest Croft Gardens and Croft Castle all within a short drive. Fishing and canoeing are available on the River Lugg leading down from the grounds of the holiday property. Horse riding is also available and if visitors want to bring their own horse, there is a paddock on site. For children there is a small breeds farm only a short drive away to entertain them for an afternoon. Foodies will enjoy the picturesque town of Ludlow with its renowned Michelin star restaurants as well as its more humble bistros and cafes. If a bespoke menu is preferred in-house, the owner can offer a prebooked service at home to suit the needs of special parties, anniversaries and reunions. The local airport at Shobden has easy access for those who prefer to arrive without the hassle of congested motorways and endless traffic queues.
