This large, modern, well-equipped holiday home is in an elevated position and has commanding views of the surrounding countryside which can be enjoyed from the patio area, ideal for outside dining or a glass of wine. It has a mix of traditional and contemporary features which include underfloor heating and a high tech lighting system and has been fitted to a very high standard. It boasts a stunning glazed dining-room that is open plan from the spacious family kitchen and has a games room with a ¾-size snooker table. The family bathroom has been beautifully fitted and the master bedroom has views from the double French doors with a Juliet balcony looking towards Bodmin Moor across the fields. The living room is comfortably furnished with an open limestone fireplace and has French doors onto the patio. The detached holiday home is situated a short drive from Wadebridge which has a good range of day to day shops, pubs and restaurants. Access to the Camel Trail is a short walk away and guests can cycle or walk to either Bodmin or Padstow. This is a disused railway track which follows the Camel Estuary with an abundance of birdlife to Padstow or in the other direction to Bodmin. A short drive away is Padstow with its harbour and array of shops, pubs and restaurants including Rick Stein’s famous fish restaurant and cooking school. From here guests can take a ferry across to Rock which has a vast range of water sports and a long sandy beach. The property is close to some of the best beaches North Cornwall has to offer including Polzeath which is ideal for families and surfing and a short drive away is Newquay with the famous Fistral beach, used for international and world surfing competitions.
