Just minutes from the famous Fistral beach, these charming cottages (TW8 & TW9) provide the ideal base for that all-important beach holiday on Cornwall’s beautiful coast. Situated in a peaceful village green setting on one of Newquay’s dramatic headlands, the holiday cottages are only a 10-minute walk into the town. Newquay provides an abundance of attractions for the whole family - from wide sandy beaches, restaurants, beachside cafés, a zoo, a Sea Life Centre, parks, sports centres, swimming-pools, surf schools, sea fishing, go karting, horse riding and golf. Surrounding the town are many picturesque and secluded villages with quiet spots to get away from the madding crowd. Padstow and Watergate Bay are also close by and home to Rick Stein’s and Jamie Oliver’s restaurants (booking essential). Further afield are the Eden Project, the Lost Gardens of Heligan, Lanhydrock House and many other NT gardens and historic houses. Truro, St Ives, Penzance, Falmouth, Port Isaac and Fowey also provide an excellent and alternative day out.
