The village itself consists of a pub, tea shop, caf&eacute; and gift shop. Marine history enthusiasts can visit the local pub which houses a vast collection of relics and old photographs. The famous Helford river is 4 miles to the north; nearby Nare Point is ideal for those who love walking with excellent coastal paths to explore, and there are beaches at Godrevy Cove, Coverack, Kennack Sands and Kynance Cove. A scuba diving centre can be found nearby and other leisure activities available locally include sailing, fishing and golf. Day excursions could include visiting St. Ives and Falmouth, or further afield The Eden Project and The Lost Gardens of Heligan can easily be reached.
