Cycling and horse riding are available locally and walkers will find many lovely routes within the glorious Tamar Valley an AONB. Guests are just a short drive from some of the best golf courses in Cornwall including St Mellion International, 4 miles, with its two championship golf courses and the famous Trevose course. There are several superb National Trust properties close by including the stunning Tudor estate of Cotehele just 2&frac12; miles, renowned for the beauty of its daffodils in spring, its river quay, watermill and woodland walks. Morwellham Quay and mining village are close by and Cornwall&rsquo;s premier tourist attractions The Eden Project and the Lost Gardens of Heligan are an easy drive.
