The bay is a short stroll down the hill and has rock pools, sandy coves and superb walks along the coastal footpaths._The picturesque fishing villages of Looe, where shark fishing is available from the harbour, and Polperro are both within easy reach. Places to visit include the Monkey Sanctuary and the Museum of Smuggling at Polperro._To the east of these charming holiday apartments lies the beautiful and often missed Rame Peninsula which is only a short drive. Here you will find dramatic Cliffs and wide beaches an essential ingredient for that family holiday or strolling along. The Rame peninsula is home to the magnificent Mount Edgcumbe estate, house and gardens. the beautifully landscaped grounds are open to the public and are the perfect place to enjoy a picnic overlooking the sea.
