This first floor holiday apartment overlooking Falmouth Harbour enjoys wonderful views. It lies just a short stroll from Falmouth’s Events Square with the Maritime Museum as well as excellent restaurants and a selection of bars and shops. The Falmouth Week takes place each August and is popular with visitors - the Events Square becomes a live music venue attracting top name gigs alongside ever popular local entertainment. During this period there is also dinghy and yacht racing, organised by the sailing clubs that make up the Port of Falmouth Sailing Association. The marina and harbour provide ferry services, boat trips and water taxis to St Mawes, Carrick Roads and the Helford river. Nearby is the imposing Pendennis Castle and a varierty of wonderful sandy beaches, watersports and golf. There are several magnificent gardens in the area to visit, including those of Trebah, Trelissick and Glendurgan, which are particularly beautiful during the Festival of Spring Gardens held during April and May each year. Roseland and the Lizard Peninsula are also a good day out. Truro offers an array of shops and art galleries as well as specialist shops set amidst winding side streets; a weekly local market displays a range of local Cornish produce and crafts. This is an ideal holiday location with many excellent coastal walks to be enjoyed whilst taking in some tunning scenery.
